Similac Gold 1 is a new and improved infant formula for babies from birth to 6 months.
Directions for Use:
Use and feed your baby according to your doctors instructions. Proper hygiene, handling, and storage are all important when preparing infant formula.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious harm. Powdered infant formulas are not sterile and should not be given to premature babies or those with immune problems unless under the guidance and supervision of a doctor.
Wash the bottle and all utensils, then boil for five minutes. Set aside on a clean surface.
In a separate bowl, boil water for five minutes and allow to cool.
Pour the appropriate amount of previously boiled lukewarm water into the sterilized bottle.
Fill the provided scoop by pressing it toward the container, then scrape off the excess with the flat edge of a knife.
Add one level scoop of powder to every 60 ml of water. Mix until completely dissolved. Check the temperature of the feed, then feed your baby.
When breastfeeding begins, discard any unused formula.
Extra feeds should be stored in the refrigerator (between 2 and 4°C) for 24 hours.
Warnings and Precautions:
Storage: The unopened container can be stored at normal room temperature (not exceeding 25°C).
Once opened, use the contents within three weeks. Cover the opened container and store it in a cool, dry place (but not in the refrigerator).
